StowQR for Android & Web — Beta Coming Soon
StowQR is coming to Android and the web. The same QR-coded totes, the same one-photo AI cataloging, on a device you already use. We're opening a beta ahead of launch, and we're looking for testers.
What's coming
Two things, built from the same product you can use on iPhone and iPad today:
- An Android app. Native install, camera-first scanning, Itemify AI cataloging, real-time family sync. Built for the phone in your pocket.
- A web app. The full StowQR experience in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — with optional install to your home screen on Android, ChromeOS, Windows, and Mac. No download required to start.
Your data syncs across all of them. Scan a tote on Android, edit it in the web app on a laptop, find it from your partner's iPhone — same inventory, one account.
Why a web app, too?
Phones are great for scanning. Laptops are great for sorting, exporting, and cleaning up labels. The web app gives you a keyboard-and-mouse view of your inventory — useful when you're managing a garage move, prepping a CSV for insurance, or organizing event equipment. It runs in any browser, installs to your home screen on Android and ChromeOS if you want it to, and doesn't need a Play Store account.
What beta testers get
- Early access to both the Android app and the web app before public launch.
- A direct line to the team. Bug reports and feedback go straight to the people building it.
- Influence on the roadmap. The features and rough edges you flag in beta are the ones we fix first.
- A free Pro month at launch as a thank-you for testers who submit at least one piece of written feedback.
How to join the beta
- Go to the StowQR waitlist.
- Pick the platforms you want — Android app, Web app, or both.
- Drop your email. That's it.
We'll email you when your beta invite is ready. No spam, no marketing blasts — just the invite and a short note on what to test.
FAQ
When does the beta start?
We'll begin sending invites in waves once we have a stable build to share. Waitlist sign-ups are reviewed in the order they come in.
Will the Android app have the same features as iOS?
Yes. The plan is full feature parity at launch — QR-coded totes, Itemify cataloging, real-time family sync, custom label styles, CSV export, and the same Free and Pro tiers as iOS.
Does the web app work on iPhone?
Yes. The web app runs in Safari on iOS, but if you have an iPhone or iPad you should keep using the native StowQR app — it's faster, integrates with the camera better, and is already on the App Store.
Will my data sync between the apps?
Yes. StowQR uses one account and one cloud-synced inventory across iOS, Android, and web. Scan on one device, view on another — everything stays in sync in real time.
Will the beta be free?
Yes. The beta is free for everyone we invite. After launch the same Free tier (up to 3 totes) and paid Pro tier will apply on Android and the web, matching iOS — current pricing is shown in the App Store and inside the app.
How is StowQR different from a spreadsheet?
StowQR puts a QR code on every physical box and uses AI to fill in the contents from one photo. A spreadsheet asks you to type. StowQR asks you to point a camera. The Itemify post walks through how the photo step works.
Ready to test?
The Android app and web app are both in active development. Join the waitlist and we'll send you a beta invite as soon as builds are ready to share.
