How to Find Anything with Search

Cataloging pays off the moment you need something. Instead of opening boxes, you type a name and StowQR tells you which tote it's in. Here's how search works.

Step 1: Open the Search tab

Tap the Searchtab. It searches across every tote at once. You don't pick a box first, because the whole point is that you don't know which box it's in.

Step 2: Type what you're looking for

Start typing: “HDMI cable”, “ski gloves”, “the good wrapping paper”. Results appear as you type, each with the item's photo so you can confirm it's the right one at a glance, not just by name.

Step 3: Jump to the tote that holds it

Tap a result and StowQR opens the tote that contains it. Now you know exactly which box to pull down — and if you've assigned the tote to a Place, which shelf it's sitting on.
